Intro

Eric is an Associate in the firm's Labor and Employment section. His practice centers on defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, as well as preventive advice and counseling. Eric is a problem solver who prides himself on maintaining robust levels of trust and communication with his clients. He has prevailed in dispositive motions, including summary judgment of a lawsuit involving claims brought pursuant to the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), and summary adjudication of claims for punitive damages. Eric also second chaired a civil rights jury trial and an arbitration arising from allegations of wrongful termination, and he has ample experience preparing discovery responses for his clients. In addition, Eric is an Association of Workplace Investigators Certificate Holder (AWI-CH) and is experienced in conducting impartial workplace investigations.

During his time at the USC Gould School of Law, Eric served as vice president of the Latino Law Students Association. Beyond his academic pursuits in law school, he acquired practical legal experience by clerking for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
