Hanson Bridgett Associate Shandyn Pierce Named California Academy of Appellate Lawyers Fellow

May 28, 2024 (San Francisco, CA) – Hanson Bridgett LLP is pleased to announce that associate Shandyn H. Pierce has been named a California Academy of Appellate Lawyers (CAAL) Fellow. Pierce is one of four Fellows selected and 2024 marks the inaugural year of the organization's Fellowship Program, designed to enrich the professional experience of early-career appellate lawyers.

"I'm incredibly honored and excited to have been selected to join this Fellowship class," said Pierce. As a CAAL Fellow, Pierce will participate in various committees, attend appellate-specific educational programs and events, and receive mentorship from esteemed Academy members.

CAAL is an election-only organization founded in 1972 devoted to excellence in the appellate practice and fostering educational networking opportunities. Its members include the top appellate practitioners, retired appellate justices, authors of leading appellate treatises, and leaders of every regional bar organization.
