Hanson Bridgett Partner Brian Schnarr Appointed San Rafael Market Leader
June 10, 2024 (San Rafael, CA) – Hanson Bridgett LLP is pleased to announce that partner Brian Schnarr is the new Market Leader of the firm's San Rafael office. Schnarr takes over from Brad Rogerson who led the office since 2020.

The firm's San Rafael office is perfectly located in the heart of Marin, and represents clients throughout Napa, Solano, and Sonoma Counties. "One of my early goals is to ensure our San Rafael office is a place where our talented bench of attorneys are excited to come in and engage with these communities."
As a point of emphasis, Hanson Bridgett has focused on developing pathways for its leaders to serve in roles both internally at the firm and within California communities. Schnarr is currently a Board Member for the Northern California Chapter of the Construction Management Association of America and is on the Corte Madera Flood Control Board. As Market Leader, he intends to build off the legacy Hanson Bridgett has earned in Marin County, continue to provide excellent service to its existing clients, and connect Hanson Bridgett's teams to leading businesses and individuals.
Schnarr, an integral part of Hanson Bridgett’s Construction Practice Group since 2017, is a nationally recognized and award-winning trial attorney with a successful track record in high-stakes, high-profile disputes. He has successfully represented a diverse range of clients – including contractors, developers, and public entities – in complex construction disputes, contract negotiations, and risk management. His love of courtroom work followed a milestone $1.15 billion judgment his team secured over deteriorating lead-based paint. From there, he has continued to seek out the most challenging disputes and issues, and opportunities to present a client’s case to a judge or jury.

"With the help of our leading real estate and government practice groups, our construction team at Hanson Bridgett aims to provide clients with a full-service experience, from land acquisition to transactions, and if needed, resolving claims."
Hanson Bridgett's San Rafael office is heavily active in supporting local organizations like the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce and nonprofits including Sonoma Speedway Children's Charities. The location has experienced growth and a resurgence as more attorneys and professional staff have returned from working remotely.
