Hanson Bridgett Signs New Office Lease In Downtown Los Angeles
New Space is Close to Double the Size of the Firm’s Current Offices
July 1, 2024 (Los Angeles, CA) – Hanson Bridgett LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has signed a lease for a new office location in Los Angeles, CA. Located at 601 W. 5th Street in The CalEdison DTLA (The CalEdison), Hanson Bridgett’s new offices will span nearly 15,000 square feet on the 3rd Floor. The firm’s current offices encompass about 8,180 square feet. The new lease is effective January 1, 2025.
“Our team in Los Angeles is very excited to move into our new space,” said Raffi Zerounian, Hanson Bridgett’s Los Angeles Market Leader. “Our Los Angeles office has been growing steadily, adding both attorneys and professional staff, so the expansion will provide much-needed additional space and resources. We looked for a space that would be attractive to our colleagues and clients – the office layout will facilitate collaboration and has some fun features like an outdoor deck. We are celebrating our 10th anniversary in Los Angeles this October, and the new larger space is a testament to the firm’s success and ability to serve clients in the Los Angeles market.”
Located at the corner of Fifth Street and Grand Avenue, The CalEdison is a 14-story, 287,000-sf building reimagined as creative office space, with two levels of ground-floor retail. The architecturally significant lobby features museum-quality art and a gourmet coffee bar. The CalEdison name is a tribute to the building’s history as the former headquarters of the Southern California Edison Company. Completed in 1931, it was among the first buildings in the Western U.S. to include all-electric heating and cooling. The property is a locally designated Art Deco landmark listed on the Register of the California Office of Historic Preservation.

Working closely with Rising Realty Partners, owner and operator of The CalEdison, Hanson Bridgett successfully negotiated the 5 and 3/4-year lease so that the firm could move into the new space in a timely manner and also be in a position to add additional space if necessary.
